Petalia Seeds unable to craft?

I am at the stage where I am trying to do the Song of the Sea. I gathered the ingredients to craft Petalia seed, but for some reason when I go to the big plant thing to do it, and I try to select from the list, it says "Insufficient materials". But I know for a fact I have Arame, iris, and Osmium kelp in my inventory when I attempt to make it.

Closing the game and reloading it did not fix the issue. I have also attempted to do this while all the ingredients were in a chest that is part of my global inventory. I have also been able to craft these seed before? The game is sort of soft locked now, if I can't make those seeds and finish the quest.

Hello @thetonberryqueen!

May I ask if you're playing on PC or Steam Deck? We've received similar reports of this issue occurring when using a controller, and the team is currently working on a fix.

In the meantime, if you're using a controller, you might try switching to a keyboard and mouse to see if that resolves the problem.

Had the same issue; until I clicked on the neighbouring seed i didnt have materials for and the petalia crafting popped up - turns out despite saying petalia and the other seed in the menue they are swapped somehow and i have to click on the other one to what i want to craft to make the thingy pop up
