Help with Semeru

Hello. I need help romancing Semeru. I'm in year 2, and I've completed all the land expeditions and romance scenes. I also talk to him daily and give him his favorite gift, nothing works. I'm still in 7 hearts. Please if you married Him, give me tips how to get to 10 hearts. Thank you.

One of his favorite gifts is Beer. If you grow wheat and place it in a keg it will make beer as well. The higher the quality of the gift the more points you will receive towards their next heart level. I just married Semeru in fall of year two on my play through.

I also married Semeru and I'm about to have the 2nd child with him after maxing all the hearts.
He loves beer, so barley plant in Fall , wheat in Summer and have at least one keg for him (I even got a chest with barley and wheat for him)

I've been like you for months now x')
I've done all the quests and events and the hearts don't go up even with 1 year (in game) of beer,
I made them very alcoholic XD but nothing to do it doesn't go up, I even tried to do the princess to see, she also doesn't go up after giving the necklace :/ and yet I've done all the quests possible, I came back to thinking that my game is dead I don't know for what reason

How sure of this are you? I've been giving Eva regular old orchids and she's loving, about half a heart each time.

If what you're saying is correct that means a high quality orchid would make her heart go up really quick.

I don't know if you're right about that, but I'll be happy to be wrong, because this will make my life easier!

if a recall a gift in osmium quality give a x2 bonus and i sure got a lot when offering osmium gift to our land dweller, so unless there is a bug on our sea dweller with that... It does work

I have 16 hearts with him and I can guarantee that 2 beers a week is the way to his heart. Wheat or barley, both works. On his birthday (Spring 5) it gets bonuses. I didn't care much about the quality, but I tried to give at least silver or gold but I'm sure that osmium might give more hearts.
And if you are still doing the excursions, try to ask him out.
I actually managed to marry him on his birthday, it was a fun coincidence
