Location on map underwater

Please, please, please I beg you - add in a little arrow or dot or something that marks your location of where you are underwater. It's impossible to figure out exactly where you are otherwise and makes diving so much harder than it needs to be.

Your position is not see able, but you are in the center of the map when you open it.
That's of course not precise, and to have a mark would be great, but that's better than nothing until correction.

this was an issue the entire beta, im not sure if its now a feature or a bug that hasnt been fixed since july when the beta first dropped

The ocean map is still WIP and slowly gaining features. Back in Alpha we didn't even *have* an ocean map.

There is a buttom of 'center the map'
It always centers on your location.

Yep - press 'F' or use the 'center' button at the bottom to center the map on your current location.

Centering isn't the same as having a marker that shows exactly where you are though. This honestly doesn't help me at all, I am constantly struggling to figure out where I am and I've talked to others who share the exact same frustration. It's just not clear enough for all of us.

After almost a month, until today I managed to reach Merfolk Kindgdom, I really struggled a lot to get there, I have no sense of direction, I easily get lost in a place and it seems to me that a radar or signal that indicates the exact location where I am is necessary. For those of us who don't get disoriented in the ocean and even more so in the game, I appreciate you including it in the game options.

I endorse this idea. I was struggling earlier to find my position before I realized there was no marker.
