Planting of Sapling trees
Can it only be planted outdoor and not in the green House? If so do they die each season like the other trees? Your help is very much appreciated thanks.

The fruit trees do not die like the fruit plants when planted outside

I planted two seedlings (don't know which) the first day of Spring and they were dead by the first day of Summer. Never produced. I have one fruit tree that is now bare - hopefully, just dormant and not dead. I don't think it produced either.

Each type of fruit plant is specific to two seasons (Spring/Summer, Summer/Fall, Fall/Winter, and Winter/Spring). If you planted a Winter/Spring plant in Spring, it would indeed die on the last day of Spring. You want to plant Winter/Spring plants in Winter for maximum productivity. If you want to plant one in Spring, go for one of the Spring/Summer plants.

The tree will become un-dormant once it's back in season. I assume the thing you planted first was a fruit plant, which do die once out of season and are most productive when planted in the greenhouse for that reason.

This will probably sound as dumb to you as it did to me when I finally figured things out. Basically, you have to water seedlings daily for them to grow and produce fruit. You can either water them with the watering can or set up sprinklers to water the seedling for you automatically.
