[feedback] Winter Sesajen

Dear Dev's,
I have 56hrs of gameplay and I wholeheartedly love the game.


As a humble feedback I would alter the Winter Sesajen; the way it is now is very frustrating and misleading.

The game teaches the player that the Spring Sesajen is about Spring crops, the Summer Sesajen is about Summer crops, the Autumn Sesajen is about Autumn crops but when we finally arrive in Winter, there is no way to harvest or buy Garlic, Watermelon and Fairy Rose to complete the Winter Sesajen.

Brownsing Discord and Steam groups, I found that these missing crops are actually harvested in Autumn and will only be available to buy if my town is Rank C; I have no way of knowing this throughout the year..

1- If you want the player to plan in advance to meet future challenges, don't call it Winter Sesajen and dont keep the player in the dark about these specific crops being locked behind the Town's development rank.

2- If you want to keep the game's logic and gameplay flow, make the Winter offerings be about scavengeables the player can actually get in the winter: Black beauty eggplant, Brussel sprouts, Kale, Pansy, Rafflesia, Tea berry, Rose hip etc.

I agree. im just in the end of summer.
What town level does it need to unlock those seeds?

Maybe you can get them from the 3 "offbrand" merchants? like the monkey by the mine, the one near the lighthouse and Ben ?

You need Rank C.

I tried with all of them during the Winter but none has these seeds to sell.

Is catching bugs and turning in artifacts the only ways to increase rank? I thought shipping vegetables and artisan goods etc increased it too?

hey imbadatgames,

as far as I know, shipping vegetables and artisan goods also increases town rank - there is a quest called 'local produce' that asks you to ship many items.

However, maybe they only contribute up to a point..


I'm doing what HatHamWitch said; turning in every fish, gem, insect etc - sadly, I was already at winter when I discovered this detail about the game =(

Getting there by Winter doesn't help, because, as stated, the bundle doesn't actual use winter crops, it uses Fall crops.

Fall crops that need 13 days to grow iirc so you need to get it by mid fall

I mean the 20% grow might cut it to 12 or 11, the speed grow thing might make it 11 or 10
