How do you conserve energy early game?
As the title says will run out of energy rather fast during the day so how do we keep it up when we have limited resources.....

I'd eat flowers or buy a cup of coffee

The bath house opens quite early. You don't need to have an extreme amount of crops, moneywise capturing insects is easy enough, having 2 scarecrows worth of fields is what I went for. When it comes to cutting trees, only cut down what you actually need until you have upgraded your tools, as one tree will cost you 18x3 stamina, for 20 wood. That will not last you long. I've personally focused on diving after unlocking it, combined with bath house I can dive 2-3 full bars of stamina daily, that also nets quite a bit of money when selling the artifacts for 167 a piece. Normal bugs takes 10 stamina to catch and nets you 10-100 each. You can also go into the mines, agate sells for an ok slum and is quite a normal drop, getting to floor 30 and 40 gives you potions that sells for a nice sum too.

When it comes to stamina gain, if you want a lot, sugarcane from doing the spring deliveries gives a lot and regrows a lot. Diving gets you seagrass, which gives +7 stamina, it costs 3 to cut grass, so you will lose more than you gain, but you can use that later on, while you can just refill stamina on bath house and go back to where you left afterwards, so its no loss after.

I've found that you can also go up to trees and right click to shake them and most of the time it will drop seeds so you don't have to cut down as many trees

This. You can set the game time down to 50% so you have more time to play the day and go and push/kick all your trees for seeds to make the candy, you will have to cut some down for sap, later on you can make a tap, its expensive though. I think you have to level up wood cutting skill for the candy recipe.

Thank you very much for the tips peoples.........the hardest part with these style games is doing everything in the first few days to set yourself up only to find yourself lacking energy every 2 minutes.........

It seems almost identical to Stardew in the way the early game plays out so to begin with I also concentrate on farming, on days it rains go fishing and make as much money from fishing and buy more and more seeds if it’s anything like Stardew by the end of spring you will have unlocked sprinklers I’m assuming they are in the game I haven’t got that far, then you don’t need to water anymore so you can do other things like mining diving fishing catching bugs but work on getting sprinklers unlocked asap

Must admit there are a few games out like stardew now and with donating to the museum. I liked the game however it was a double edged sword, so many things to do however I felt like screaming at the museum saying "why dont you do it yourself instead of asking me to do everything"........LOL

Seems to be the time for release of these style of games, more and more farming style...

But I do like this genre or style of game, its just getting started makes it harder.........

As for these sprinklers I always avoided those but now I will have to make myself use them. Not sure the set up thou but will research, its always energy levels I suck at......

Pace yourself and prioritize. I'm at Spring 19 sitting with all bronze tools, 13 water shrines unlocked, two temple collections done, two bag upgrades, and 40ish museum submissions, and I've barely used any stamina items.

The temptation is to clear your farm straight away because the mess is unsightly. But, don't. Only clear as much as you need to give yourself room to farm and to get the wood you need for the items you need. Stone... you'll be getting tons of that in the mines and you'll need to spend some time there in order to get bronze for tool upgrades.

* Don't make any scarecrows until you get the quest and then only make one. The caravan shop/hippy guy sells a much better scarecrow for cheap.
* Only plant about a 10x10 area, max.
* Yes, there are sprinklers but one of the resources needed is really rare at the beginning and you won't be able to make more than 1-2. They also don't cover much area.
* Forage. Rummage in every trash can. Pick everything up. Sell all foragables and fish you get other than the first one that goes to the museum.

Kick all the trees, make tree seed candy, win

Someone mentioned the bathhouse, when does this open, your talking about the hot springs aren't you? I'm in summer and would like to bath for energy.

I liked slower game days from the start. I just enjoy spending more time in one day, I get more things done and I don't have to feel rushed.

@utah1982 you do know there is a setting in there to slow down your game days and speed it up, i read that on youtube, the default is 100% you can take it down to 50%. Same as running as well, you can adjust that as well.

Thanks again for more tips folks, it is very similar to stardew, so at least I have more to focus on.......

Once u upgrade ur house to lvl 2 u can unlock utensil. Buy Pot for cooking. Here is the tips. U can cook ur resources like wood and it will become failed dish. Which means it is edible. Then cook Stone Soup (Can be unlocked once ur mining mastery lvl 4). The recipe is stone + any edible ingredients.

U can make more money by selling it too besides selling ur wood/stone
