How to throw away basic fishing pole and basic bug net?

I bought improved versions of those tools, how do I get rid of the basic ones?

Is it not possible to get rid of them? I can't afford them yet, so I am unsure but there should be a trash icon under your inventory, where you should be able to get rid some materials you don't need. If that doesn't work, perhaps just creating a new chest for your equipment will do for now.

looking ahead those basic fishing pole and bug net may be entrusted to your child to give you bugs and fish while you do other stuff....but that's just me hoping for that to happen

yeah you can't throw them onto the trash icon sadly

I put a box in the way off corner and placed them there. You cant trash them sadly. Or sell them.

I now unfortunately have 2 swords.
Would be good if you could sell them or throw them away!
