Fall - get lots of sprinklers - almost all crops regrows - make artisan goods. Pumpkin is profit (also regrows)! Take a lap up around the forest, to lake, to beach then tp home from lighthouse (collecting bugs and seasonals). all in all i make about 3-4k/day which is at least something.

Early game: go all out on farming potatoes. Watering will kill your stamina so you won't have the energy to do anything special. The first (real) house upgrade is 5500c, some materials, and 5 bronze bars. Do 5x5 grids with a scarecrow in the middle.

If you can spare some energy, go fishing. None of the shop foods look worth their price tag. Cofee seemed like the only one worth buying for the energy per coral coin.

you can also check trees on your farm for tree seeds. x3 seeds and some sap lets you make candied tree seeds.

Update: pumpkin juice and wine (takes a few days but so worth it). tho it takes 13 days for the pumpkins and they regrow at 13 days so u can only harvest them twice :/ So maybe wine is the better, long term option. 8 kegs = about 8-10k at "payday". and a bunch of other regrowables for some quick change in the meantime. Made about 45-50k in one season.

Also, uncommon flower in the forest sells for 500 as is.

EDIT : one bronze titan arum honey, sells for 3.5k.

Hi! You know, I found one of the quickest ways to get rich is by selling bug jerkies! You have to upgrade your house and build the kitchen first, then buy a grill, then collect some bugs and grill them away. It's 235c per portion, so if you collect 5 bugs and grill them (which would need 50 energies in total), you can get 1175c in a day, and more if you collect more bugs! Easy money

Honestly surprised, no one has mentioned catching great whites in the summer yet. But if you are looking for lots of money, you can get infinite money in a single day depending how patient you are. Just have a kitchen and a grill. Then go to the beach shack in spring or summer.

Sunny will sell fish (catfish in spring and tilapia in summer) for about 50-60 corals each. Buy as many as can afford then run home and cook them to grilled fish. Then run back to Sunny and sell them all immediately for 180 corals (triple the value). Then use this new money to stock up on more fish and repeat the process over and over. You can sell the dishes to Sunny directly to get paid right away instead of waiting for overnight and use that to buy so no waiting. It costs you stamina to cook but you can just eat a few dishes every now and then to get your stamina back and still profit. Plus time does not pass in the cooking menu so you can do it many times in a single day.

If it weren't for the fact the grilled fish recipe does not show up in the normal cooking section and thus has to be done manually over and over, this would be even more massively broken. As is, it does take real time to do it all, but it is not an exploit or cheating. It is just how the game works.

Everything everyone said... I've been selling Bug Jerky.. you can go foraging and catch lots of bugs. Make bug jerky with them all.

Don`t use crafted scarecrows, they have pitiful range. The guy in the trailer shop top NW corner of the map sells one scarecrow each week, it`s very cheap and has huge range compared to crafted ones.

Summertime shark fishing is really what gave me the cash I needed to expand my house and buy backpack space. It's a real boon in the early game. Just pulling in 5 or 6 great whites a day during summer will fix you up for further development. Fish in the early day off the dock boat. At least these are catch-able, the hammerheads are a real pain and don't make as much money anyway.

Definitely build sprinklers as soon as you can. Wine and honey are where it's at crop wise. It may take a few seasons, but once you get the bee house, build a bunch of them. I have 8 currently. Learn which flowers make the best honey. Lilly, orchid, sunflower, blue dahlia, snowdrop are the best I think. When the seeds are available, buy lots. You can make between 300 and 400 a pop for good honey. Also, during fall and winter, make sure you comb your island in the forest for the titum arum and the rafflesia flowers. You will usually only find one per day but sometimes two. They will make you 3000 as black honey.

When grapes are available, stock up. You can harvest them several times and wine is probably the best artisan money maker in the game so far. When you can make kegs, fill them with grapes, the higher quality the better. It take forever to make, but worth it. I'm running 9. Once I got the greenhouse I planted 24 grape vines in there. Since they don't wilt at end of season, you can keep harvesting to fuel your kegs. Get your seeds upgraded at Ling's, use fertilizer too for high quality grapes and flowers. Wine sells for upward of 1000 per bottle. Happy farming.

I read in the newest update that great white sharks now is nerfed. So maybe it won't be a reliable source of income from now on.

Yeah sadly no more shark fishing. I haven't hooked one since the update. I get that legendary fish should be less available, I just hope that if I do hook one, they didn't make it as hard to catch as the hammerhead. I've just accepted I'm never landing that particular fish.
