Cannot Connect Xbox controller with my ASUS Ally

Hi everyone. I just bought an ASUS ROG Ally and I connect it to my TV and use a wireless xbox controller. It was working fine until yesterday when the game crashed and now my xbox controlled does not work on the game. It works on other games but not this one anymore. Has anyone has this issue or have any solutions? Thank you!

Maybe you need to enable Steam input or if it already is then reset the controller layout. Rightclick on the game in your library - properties - controller and enable Steam input. Then click on controller configurator and load the official layout.
