Is the game "complete" now and recommended for purchase?
Had my eyes on this "Modern" Stardew Valley game for a while, but every time I follow reviews and discussions, people seem to critique the game not being ready yet, even after it fully released.
Is it now a 'complete game' worth a purchase?

Appreciate the tip.
In my case it's less about the money and more about the quality of the game.
I don't have a ton of spare time, and it's a terrible feeling to sink your attention into something, only to later finding out the game isn't really ready yet and I could've played something else.

The single player portion is pretty much complete. The only things missing are to do with your children and them growing up as far as I remember and maybe a bit more in depth married life. Other than that multiplayer is not implemented at all if you are wanting that.

Suspicious of the sales and new humble bundle. Been waiting on multiplayer but since the humble games brand was shuttered, feel like this game is about to announce it's done and won't get any more updates

It's a wonderful game with few problems.
However, don't support the ex-publisher, support the developers themselves

Complete? Not really. They have yet to implement a lot of things they promissed including the children growing up. But plotwise, I'd say they finally finished about 90% of the proposed parts, including the Savanna and S rank town and the giant story quest. There is still another island that was promissed, but I doubt they would ever do it now.
So in terms of being actual 'full release' I'd say they finally achieved it after almost a year after being actual released. If you don't mind the game many bugs and problems and how each bugfix fix one to create 3 other bugs, I'd say go for it! the game is complete!
