Humble Games closure. What does that mean for Stairway?

I tried keyword searching for this and only found random things here and there in a few topics.

With the closure of HG, what does that mean for Stairway Games? Will they be moving over to Powell like some of the other games that haven't made it our of early access yet?

Is this a case where Stairway is making the game but they're just backed by Humble and now they need to find a new bank to support them? Or are a lot of our favorite titles now doomed and no longer going to be supported with updates going into the new year.

I worry that a lot of these titles are going to race to try and push out the updates they promised. They'll be shotty and borked. Then we'll never hear from them again.

Stairway has lost access to the back end of consoles, making it harder to push updates for them. Switch is still planned, but no ETA.

We don't know anything about the financial situation, but publishers are typically the ones who handle all translations and console porting. They also get a huge chunk, if not all, of the kickstarter money.

Stairway has told us they are working with their lawyers but are not able to tell us more. Once it is settled, Stairway can find another publisher or self publish.

Anything else you read is speculation or guessing, nothing official.

Yes, they are currently working on the multiplayer update, and update 1.2. There still update 1.3 on the roadmap, and there are still things from the kickstarter that haven't hit the roadmap yet, so we know even more stuff is still coming.
