Underwater crops problem + stability problems

This is a late game problem post so Spoiler alert!

This sounds crazy but i can't upgrade my underwater crop quality at all. when i go into Chos shop with alot of marinips and money on my persons the window says 'upgrade available' and shows correct amount of crops needed but i can't activate it.
I've considered it might have been locked but i'm fairly late game. Summer of 5th year, i have completed the song of the ocean, the 1000 crops for the merfolk king, unlocked all ocean seeds, completed most of the Surface stuff including the Goddess altar and Guardian mural, all the attractions and am a single fossil from everything being S-Rank.

I don't know if theres another problem, i'm also having huge stability issues. My game crashes badly (force quits instantly and even ends the active threads) for walking into the greenhouse or land animal houses. Queen Nanda Devi went invisible sometime in the 4th year fall and has never become visible again. various outfits add to the crashing problem, the slime masters outfit definetly. and lastly it might be a very bad RNG but after a year of looking for one single fossil i still don't have it.

Can anyone help with the crops? i'm tearing my hair out here being stuck on crappy quality crops!

Yeah I'm having the same issues, I think the ocean part of the game is not that well developed yet. I have completed everything, and there are so many bugs upon reaching the end of the game (I'm assuming).

But I have no issues with game crashes so Idk, I think it differs for everyone.

I'm not totally sure about your problem, as I was 'S' level before I tried to develop my undersea farm properly. I was able to unlock all the undersea perks, upgrades and machines, as soon as I completed the minimum requirements.

I am guessing here, so this is not a definitive answer, but it might be something to do with town rank 'S' currently being locked in your game. Why don't you grind for your last remaining fossil by farming the undersea caves for the appropriate fossil nodes. Once you've got 50 or so of the right one, go to the Lab and have them processed en-masse. If the right fossil (bone) doesn't pop, just exit without sleeping and try again. Repeat until you've got it, progress to town rank 'S', then have another go at getting the seed upgrades from the undersea shop. I'd love to know if my suggestion worked for you...

Thank you for the help. your idea did finally net me my missing fossil and i could finally get to S rank! Sadly though the underwater produce lab is still not working. It just beeps once when i attempt the upgrade and does nothing. The strange part is i could do the underwater crafting, everything in that half is done. just the crops/animals are stuck on basic.

As you're still experiencing some issues, I suggest you contact customer support at Stairway and ask if you can forward a zip file to them with all the files in your current save directory. I always find them most helpful, especially Rachma.

Give Stairway as much info as you can about what's not working as you might expect. If you are able to, I suggest you also gather all the tech spec on your computer. There should be a way in Windows to get a list of everything. Like GPU, CPU, HDD, SSD, Windows version etc...

Did you figure out how to upgrade the seeds? I have the same problem that you described. I'm still early in the underwater farm though (haven't completed the 1000 crops quest yet), so if there is some invisible progression requirement, I might not have reached those yet. On the other hand, all other upgrades from the oracle chamber where I brought the listed materials could be bought without problem. So it's strange that this upgrade path shows as available in the menu but can't be purchased.

No unfortunately i never solved that issue. i had tried a second save but after my game started crashing literally 10 minutes after i started it, i gave up. The game really needs some TLC. which is sad as its a decent game, but so buggy its very difficult to progress.

I also lost my motivation to keep playing the game now because shortly after my last post, the game crashed during the day end screen, making this already the second time I lost the progress of an entire ingame day (about 30 minutes in real time).

I'm having the same issue on upgrading the underwater seeds. I managed to upgrade them to bronze level, but I keep getting a crash when clicking in the purchase upgrade to silver. Really hope this gets fixed soon. Otherwise, the game seem to run fine for me.
