Events - reward?

I use this site https://coralisland.fandom.com/wiki/Festival and start Cherry Blossom it's this with big hotspot soup. When you click event on site you have redirect to https://coralisland.fandom.com/wiki/Cherry_Blossom_Potluck there is what you need put to get point. Neutral for me, put silver potato and start event but get 0 point for event... it's random or what??

The wiki is fan run and is usually out of date or just wrong.

Just use salt for the potluck.

shop is close, don't have salt and sea salt don't work :)... some time ago potato work normaly and today... heh... there are poin for attending but like i say don't have even 1 point from event

yea... i remember when play my old save i got 40 point for this event... now got 0. Will try later other ingrediend

Is it still your first year? If it is, you won't get any points until you go and talk to Millie.

I talk with millie, got she picture unlocked on map but still don't get point... try sea salt, mushrom and other gathering item from map... don't know why this happen... ok will skip this event but STILL need find why this happen.

Weird. Is it still the day of the festival? The next morning she will ask you to come and see her, and she explains about merit points.
