Unreal Crash Everytime I Enter Naga Palace

I started a new save on Coral Island after this last big update. Things have been going along pretty well with the exception of a little stuttering and seemingly quicker battery drain when playing (though I don’t know if that’s due to my Deck itself but I don’t have this same draining issue with other games).

The problem I have now is that I can’t get past the opening scene for the Naga Palace. I thought it was because I tried to skip the opening scene before but this time, I played all the dialogue without skipping and STILL, it crashes. What is happening?!

In order to get further in the game, I need to progress into the Deep Sea but I can’t do that with the numerous crashes. I’ve sent the crash report every time so I hope it’ll give the devs some insight but this is seriously frustrating after getting back into the game.

i also experience crashing on the steam deck every time i am arriving in the room designated for me during my stay. it doesnt matter if i skip cutscene or not.

Yes, that’s exactly the same spot that mine crashes! I tried it again last night, played the entire dialogue, and it crashed once I got to the barracks.

I just gave up and played a different game.

yes i also went back to a different game. im not sure if its a steam deck issue or a game issue but it sucks. i have redone that part 3 times now.

Same i try lower quality from high to Low, But Still crash and FPS Drop

Same here! My game crashes the moment the conversation in the barracks end :( I’ve waited out a couple of in-game days but still the same crash.

My save file is also gone now. im back at day 6 of spring year 1 which is where i quit with the demo. i was already in winter year 1 :(

same, on steamdeck game crashed twice after entering the naga palace.

Devs, as you can see, this is an issue for quite a few players and is a true hindrance to progress in the game storyline.

Please make this a priority because I was truly enjoying the game again and was so excited to see what was new after this major update. I’ve been on Reddit and other game boards, recommending this when others have requested fun sims. Unfortunately, with this major bug, I can’t recommend this game until this gets fixed.

I've just hit this crash, too. Right after I'm taken to the barracks.

i was able to bypass it by using my laptop. after the cutscene from the barracks i went outside and i think i either went to the farm with the quick travel altar outside nearby. then i went to sleep to save the game and return to the steam deck. i am able to continue but i do avoid going to sleep inside the barracks just to be on the safe side.

Same issue, very annoying as I can't progress in the game the way I'd like to
