Unreal Crashes
Every day when I play, I get the following Unreal Crash. Sometimes, it happens after 10-15 minutes, sometimes I can play for an hour or more. It's always seemingly random, i.e. sometimes I'll be in the mine, or in the ocean, or tilling my field, or chatting to NPCs. For no rhyme or reason does this happen.

LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 198] Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG')

I have already:
1. Run a sfc /scannow (Windows did find and repair a few corrupted files, though none that would affect games, I don't imagine);
2. Verified the file integrity within Steam;
3. Modified and repaired all my Visual C++ runtimes;
4. Adjusted the TdrDelay and TdrDdiDelay within my Windows Registry to 5 seconds and 10 seconds, respectively (up from 2 and 5, respectively);
5. Updated my Nvidia Drivers (and even attempted the Studio Drivers over the Game Ready Drivers);
6. Changed my Nvidia Control Panel settings so that the game uses my dedicated GPU;
7. Adjusted my graphic card's clock by -100;
8. Used Process Lasso to always run Coral Island with high CPU priority;
9. Reverted my CPU to base speed;
10. Disabled Intel Turbo Boost within the BIOS;
11. Reinstalled the game on a different SSD;
12. Reinstalled Windows;
13. Updated my UEFI BIOS to the latest firmware;
14. Disabled all possible overlays, including Xbox Game Bar, Steam, and GeForce;
15. Ran an MPO disable registry edit provided by Nvidia;
16. Adjusted all my game settings down from Ultra/Epic to Low (a truly dismal visual downgrade, but I'd suffer through it if the game wouldn't crash);
17. Adjusting my GPU's power to >100 via MSI Afterburner;
18. Forcing the game into DirectX 11 rather than 12; and
19. Restricted my 240Hz monitor to 60 FPS.

Alas, my game crashes every time I attempt to play.

My PC specs are below:
Windows 11 Home (10.0.22631) 64-bit
MSI MAG B660M MORTAR DDR4 (MS-7D42)
Intel i7-12700KF at base clock
32GB DDR4 CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO 3600MHz
EVGA Supernova P5 1000W
EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming (12G-P5-39670KR), underclocked 100

EDIT: Not holding my breath just yet, but I've been playing for a couple of hours without a crash. I further edited my TdrDelay and TdrDdiDelay in my Registry up to 20 seconds for each. That seems to be holding the problem steady, but I'll report back if a crash befalls my play session.

Also pretty happy to report that the MPO disable registry edit resolved all my flickering texture issues within the game.

I propose that, in the event you are suffering from an Unreal Crash indicating that the D3D device was lost, adjust your TdrDelay and TdrDdiDelay values in your Windows Registry. I have been playing for 6+ hours now without issue -- a first!

I did ultimately bump my presets back up to Ultra/Epic, and restored my GPU clock to base. Otherwise, all other troubleshooting efforts as indicated above are still in place.

Instructions on how to adjust your Registry values can be found here: https://forums.unrealengine.com/t/does-anybody-know-how-to-fix-d3d-device-being-lost/235377/5

Managed to get a new crash today. No longer the device being lost, now the following error:

Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000000

I've not yet encountered a game that crashes this often, and requires this much troubleshooting to resolve. A bit disappointing, since I genuinely love this game and want to play.
