Tuna and the fire mines?

Im sure i caught a tuna in fall but its not on the list so i must have missed it, so i checked the wiki and it says you can catch them in the fire mine all year round, so i went to the fire mine level 40 and fished in lava? couldnt actually find any water and i never caught one, is it just me being unlucky? am i on the wrong floor of the fire mines, or do i have to wait till fall of year 2 to get another shot, im currently spring of year 2

You are on the wrong floor. I just was doing the same exact thing. Go into lvl 1-5 you'll find water.
