Bat Wing Drop

Where the heck are the bat wings? I have 2 of them in 80 hours of game play. I go to the mines like every other day and I have everything else to complete the offering except bat wings.

Yeah the bat wings are the worst thing in the altar. I only completed the offering after I cleared the fire (last) mine :\ They drop from the flying fire bat things but it's pretty low drop rate. On the lower mines it drops from the cat thing and the drop rate is abysmal so don't bother.

If you have the replicator I’m sure you could just clone them that way? To get the 5 you need never tried as I was lucky enough to get the drops from the bats in the cave

i feel you!! i think batwings are the rarest monster loot. how i got mine was by visiting the mines everyday after i finish my tasks at the farm. and in the mine i focus on killing monsters on every level i can. i found 2 batwings at first in the earth mines luckily, the i got 1 in the water mines, then finally i got the last 2 in the fire mines. the probability of getting them is higher if u attack flying monsters. i know my answer is probably quite obvious but i visited the mines literally everyday during summer-fall. hope this helps!!!

I have over 300 hours of game play and have received 3 bat wings so far. I have finished clearing the fire cave 4 times in order to receive these 3 bat wings. Strangely, I have yet to receive a bat wing from a bat. They have come from other monsters, but I don't remember which ones.

Wierd, i was done with that in, i think my third, osmium ore run floor 30-40 at fall one? the one i had trouble getting was the thick meat

You can also get the bat wings dropped from Snatcher (the cat thief looking mobs).
They have a 10% chance of dropping them!

They're found from the following locations:
Water mine (floor 21-40)
Wind mine (floor 11-20)
Fire mine (floor 11-20)

If you can get to the Savannah without completing that altar, I have gotten like 10 of them in the first 20ish floors.

i really don't think that is true at all, despite what wiki says. The latest update must've really messed up the drop rates for them

I made a new save when 1.1 came out and all of my bat wings so far came from the cats. Nothing has changed, bat wings just suck to collect.

I'm glad I found this thread - I thought I was going mad! I've just finished the fire cave, desperately killing cats and bats, and not had a single bat wing the whole game!

The drop is definitely low, but I will confirm the most reliable (lol) way from enemies is the snatchers. I picked up my 5th bat wing for the alter while progressing through the Wind Mine without any dedicated farming for them, I just killed every enemy on the floor before moving on, no back and forth.

I can see how it could be a massive rng headache though, 10% is hardly consistent for an enemy that is itself not guaranteed.

I would definitely be replicating them if i still hadn't finished it by the time i got the replication slime, farming for them at that point is a massive waste of time.
