How do I properly care for my animals on the farm? You are unhappy. I do the same thing as on my island farm... Hearts are not full and the mood is always bad. Q.Q

Same here. They don't seem to eat either. Therefore they don't produce well produce ^^"

If you put in auto petter or collector they bug out. You need to sell them and destroy barn and build a new and start over, Also, put in a heater or they are in a bad mood. Let them eat outside, plant seaweed starter.

What helped me when I bought 3 new mermoo's was moving one of them to another barn because it turned out they were upset because it was too crowded having three of them in the same barn.

Auto-petter and Collector don't work, but if you dont put the temperature thingy they become cranky.

^^ This. DO NOT put the Auto-Collector or Auto-Petter in the sea barn, or it will bug out that barn permanently, and no animal in it will produce anything, even new animals added to it. Learned this the hard way. Only solution is to destroy/rebuild the barn.
How such a glaring oversight like this made it through beta into 1.1 is baffling. I know it's a relatively small indie studio, but damn.

Does this bug also happen in the normal barn? Or can I put the auto things in the normal coop and barn?

The auto collector and petter seem to still work fine in the land coop and barn. Though I'm running a year 5 character with the new 1.1 release so it existed before the update.
