Beta: Underwater Farm

I was finally able to set up and got my farm running. I put in two barns for my animals, but it seems that they weren't very happy. Always cranky. So, I decided to put in a temperature machine in one of the barns, like we did for the land farm and their attitude changed greatly.

I attempted to put in a second temperature machine and it told me that I couldn't place another one. So, I have one barn full of cranky animals and the other one that are all happy.

Try manually petting each animal every day. When I tried to use the auto animal petting machine I couldn't use it under water. My animals were cranky at first too. I had to pet them every day. Release them from the barns after you pet them.

Make sure that you've placed grass starter outside of the barns for them. I sold my animals after I acquired both large and small osmium quality products. The Merfolk have only requested sea crops so far. No animal products. Hope this helps.

I've had my underwater animals for over a week and have been petting them manually every day, but they're still cranky. I also let them outside and it doesn't seem to help

Add a temperature machine to your barn. The crankiness will go away over night.

I too have 2 underwater barns, but I managed to put 2 temperature device there. Maybe yours bugged out?

How far apart are the Barns? If their 'Footprints' (which are slightly larger than the physical object) are in contact or overlapping, it may be a contributing factor.

I'm also having trouble with the underwater farm.I can't get the mermoos to produce any large milk to make the cheese. Also, none of my other animals are producing any products at all. I've had them for about a week or 2 in game. I can't get any ink or eggs or Fur or anything. I have a temperature machine in my barn. I pet them everyday. The first barn I had. I also had the auto peddler and the auto harvester in there. I took them both out sold The old animals got new animals and the same thing is happening. I can't get anything but small milk.

The only machine that goes in the underwater barn is the temperature machine, all the others don't work.

Auto petter and auto collector DOES work in underwater barn. The only one that doesn't is the auto feeder.

They didn't work in July when I replied to the OP. They've released several updates since then. I uninstalled the game in July. I'll reinstall it after they release the update for the children to grow up. Or allow me to at least be able to hold my babies. I lost interest after marrying Semeru and having 2 children.
