Anywhere in those areas, there isn't a specific place.

I just put down the bug traps in those areas and then I caught mine that way I got it in spring of year 2 I haven’t tried catching it with a net

If you have the Sturdy Computer with Insect upgrade then it will show you on the map where the current insects are located.

The Study Computer with insect upgrade really helps. When you get it, don't just check the summary for each region on the map. Zoom in closer and the game will tell you very precisely where each insect spawns that day. If the insect's portrait on the map is grey it means that you haven't yet caught that one.
