Why is everybody into Rafael?

I just see everyone making tier lists and getting married to Rafael and I just don't know why '-' What's so special about him? Did I miss something?

i married him XD hes sweet and gentle, i think its the kindness he has that made me want to pick him. He's quiet and seems to be overshadowed by his loud brother, he cleans the graveyard, but ive noticed his achievements sometimes get his brother the praise but he doesnt say. Honestly, hes a sweet underdog and people want to make him happier

Because he's a sweet, caring guy. None of this "I can fix him" garbage as you go for the dude who is going to treat you terribly. Just a guy you know will treat everyone with kindness.

i dont really find any of the characters compelling or interesting yet. I'm in winter of year 1

im hoping ill get some events that will make me connect to some characters more soon

I have the same problem with the NPCs in this game. None of them are terribly memorable or even all that interesting.

I might be able to chalk that up to lack of voice acting, but I don't think that's it—Leah, Abigail, and Robin, looking fondly at all three of you—I think it's just that none of the characters in Starlet Town really have a "hook" that makes that emotional connection.

All of the above having been said, give me Mi-an and Nia...yes, both of them. Best waifus in the genre.

As for Rafael, he seems a bit "Al from Home Improvement" to me, but hey, you do you.
