It should work. You can't actually see the log, it's on the right side of his house. Just kind of move around there, facing his house, towards the back, and you should be able to chop it.

Just to be sure, you're not trying to break the giant boulder next to the house, correct? You're facing the house and breaking the log there?

Vielen Dank für eure Tipps. Ich habe es jetzt geschafft. Es war ein ganz doofer Fehler. Ich habe die Axt mit X geschlagen. Hatte mich nur ständig gewundert warum das nicht funktionierte. Es erscheint ein Textfeld welches besagt, dass eine Holzaxt benötigt wird. Ganz vorne steht ein großes A , welches ich nie wirklich registriert habe. Ich habe dann einfach mal A gedrückt und wie von Zauberhand verwandelte sich der Baumstamm in Holzstücke.
