May I ask if BonBon is your pet?
If so, the devs have been informed about the issue and are currently working to fix the pet issue.
Hopefully, it can be fixed soon so you can interact with your pet again. Thank you!
I first noticed it with my pet (Bast), then the Winter Festival vendors, then BonBon... I'm almost afraid to play my current game in case playing is what is spreading the bug! (Almost - but I may start a new game because I love this game so much! Honestly, I'd fallen out of playing for a long while and this is the game that brought me back! Thank you!)
BonBon is Anne and Paul's dog, the fluffy brown one that the player can usually interact with. I stopped being able to interact with him a few days ago, and he now randomly pops up in weird places. I can still interact with other NPC's pets like Taco and Peanut and Butter, but I cannot with BonBon. I do not have a pet, yet. I am playing on PC, through Steam, and I'm on the most current version.
I can interact with Taco, I haven't tracked down the cats yet to see if I can interact with them!
