How do you give a gift to your pet?

Currently you cannot give gifts to your pets. It's slow, but you can raise their hearts to max simply by talking to them each day.

I think I read somewhere from one of the developers that gifting your pets used to be part of the game before release, and they intended to include it upon release back in 2023. The fact that the image is shown in the game tells me it is meant to be part of the game. So it is a shame it has still not been implemented. I wonder what the hold-up is for this one.

You could gift to pets in the beta for that release, but it didn't work right. I remember going out and getting a bug for Lindi and she didn't like it. :( I think they turned it off while the beta was still going.

Then hopefully they'll add it back in soon. It would be nice.
