Anyway to get rid of the Bigot pride flag

Please no actual bigots in the coments, this is serious. I'm very pro lgbt, but I do not agree with the flag as it represents the tribal and bigoted side of our community. it has bought nothing but hate and dsicord between people around the world.

I hope the devs are not part of this bigot side of the community that pretends they accept everyone yet spreading hate with tribal brain and flag waving, provoking and antagonising other groups to hate and violence.

I'm one who accepts everyone and not just those who agree with me, so this flag is jsut a symbol of bigotry and hate that does not accept everyone. I would rather have a flag that represents everyone and their views, which is inmpossible. But dont mind changing it to ltierally anything else.

I have zero idea what you're talking about. My husband and I are gay and married, we love everybody, and we fly the LGBTQ+ flag in our window. Half the apartment complex does too. In this red little town of conservative crazies, I'm grateful to see pro-trans, BLM and pro-LGBT flags.

I'm sorry but I literally have no idea what you're talking about as far as bigots go. Is it the style of the flag? Because all I can see is it might be a little old school, it's missing a few things on it. So it just might be a flag from before more awareness was added.

I'd also like to add, you just called *all* of us bigots.

Flags group people up and separate you from general normity. we need to normalise, not overglamoirise or else the problem will never get solved.

Waving these seperatist flags about is inherently bigoted because they refuse to acknowledge those who don't agree. It's a mirror of nationalism.

We wouldn't enjoy it if preachers stood outside our houses preaching all day about our sins. Just as they don't enjoy queers waving flags about wherever they go and refusing to compromise.

Sociologically Flags like this just promote the slow brewing of counter culture. Which itself creates hate and violence, by and against the group. Hate born from those who wave such flags, it is inherently bigoted. Waving it around as to provoke those who disagree, just like some do on the other side.
This is why it is a bigoted hate symbol which I do not agree with, its just overly worshipped to fan the flames of hate between cultures.

Especially bad here when they say they won't let anyone else have their option available. Which itself is bigoted and close minded.

OP is right on both posts. Don't force things on us just because you want to seem all inclusive. That isn't ALL inclusive at all. Give everyone options and then you are truly All Inclusive. I don't care what flags others want to hang. But I like being able to let things/people be and forcing things on me is not letting things/people be.

No I think you're just normal. lol There's a rainbow flag hanging from the town hall, it's an old school rainbow flag, and now we have someone screaming bigot and someone I'm almost positive is a All Lives Matter supporter the way they're talking.

It's a gd flag, I think everybody needs to calm down and play the damn game.

actually ALM is what happened because of BLM, its the coutner culture i was talking about,
similar source of hate born from another bigot seperatist movement. And its activley what im talking about and rooting against. But thanks for help. proving my point.

I was impressed by seeing the flag. Sad, that someone doesn't understand the flag is symbol of unity for all of us human beings.

I am sad that some people have been trying to re-define its representation. I understand, being singled out in society based on your sexuality has become too many people's unwelcome pastime. However, we have to use symbols to help people to notice the inequities we have in our society in hopes of changing the narrative to create a better unified nation.

It is so painful, knowing a few of my elderly relatives suffered so much, most of it in silence and fear, because of their sexuality. These were two kind, generous people who gave so much of themselves to our family and community. All the while being secretly tormented mostly from within, due to their being marginalized because their behaviors and sometimes appearances did not project their true biology.

It is not too difficult to understand how an individual, during the formation of ourselves in the womb were not completely formed so perfectly to match people's perception of gender identification. When we accept this fact, which has so much evidence throughout history, we form greater communities. These individuals contribute so many positive contributions to society and to our individual lives.

We have so many more troubling social issues to overcome. Two countries are recklessly murdering good people because they hold a huge advantage over another country and have decided to use murder and torture as a means to steal their resources. An attempt to rob these people of their culture, their families, their homes. Judging, tormenting individuals because their biology doesn't fit into tiny boxes? Is prejudice. Babies are born with so many different issues that affect their being able to fit into the two popular categories simple people find easy to understand. This fact alone should prove that we must make room, welcome good people. Allow them to feel comfort and loved because they are a part of our human tribe.

Hey, if one can shove it in someone's face, then one can shove it back. That's not unity. I'm married, straight with a prideful daughter/son. She can wear what ever she wants. I don't have to wear anything to show support. She still knows that I love, accept her and would die for her. The non existent pride flag at my home is not killing her.
