house decorating troubles

I can't add furniture to my house and if I remove something I can't put it back. There are also pieces of furniture I can't put into home storage.

Im having the same issue. I purchased the whole baroque set and can't place any furniture. I redid the same day multiple times and I was never able to place any furniture. also the new upstairs I just had built does't work....you can't put anything in the back room...only the front one.

PC - 1.0-945 - I also have not been able to place *most* furniture. It seems arbitrary as to which pieces are place-able or not, but it is persistent throughout in-game day, and restarts. It is not just 1 set, it is seemingly very random pieces.

I also am not trying to place in the spouse room upstairs.

Ha, ha, my mermaid bed that I put into home storage but couldn't remove to place in a new location showed up in my refrigerator! Figure that one out. I have no problems, except placement with furniture in my backpack. If placed, it is easy enough to move it around in decorator mode.

Sometimes, I can move furniture from home storage to backpack. Sometimes I cannot. I cannot move furniture, using the decorator mode out of storage and into any of my homes/vacation rentals. Pressing A is not working at all.

I am using PC, Microsoft 11, Nvidia with Ryzen AMD 7 with Nintendo Wireless Controller. It doesn't work right with keyboard either.

Items keep disappearing in my closet as well as backpack. Not much. My glasses in particular. A pair of shoes too is now missing. I have been checking my many chests to see if I accidentally put them into a chest but no go.

Thank you and good luck with this one. So many great addition to the game. These are just nuisances.

i can,t change the floor of my house in the entrance. I tried to swap it for another one but then the new floor disappears and the old one is still there as before.

Hi everyone! Thank you for your report.
Our team is aware of the Decor Mode issue, which makes you unable to place some furniture/items, and is still working on fixing it.

Regarding the second floor, we can confirm that this isn't a bug. The room in the back is for your spouse to be filled later. Thank you!🙂

Do you happen to have any recorded video of moving items from a backpack issue? This will help us understand the issue better.
For the items missing from your closet and backpack, if you happen to have any screenshots or the details of how they went missing, can you share them with us?

Sorry for the late reply. I'm on PC, build version 1.0-945. I couldn't put the cabin bed in storage originally until I placed it in my house. I only experienced this after I purchased all of the disco furniture (which I think is also bugged because it's all priced at 10 coins lol).

We have received a similar report of the Decoration Mode issue, and our team is still working on fixing it.

Regarding some furniture that can't be placed in house storage, initially, you were not supposed to be able to put regular items in the house storage because it is intended solely for decoration purposes.
Previously, when you could place items other than decorative ones in home storage, it was considered a bug.

Therefore, since we have addressed and fixed this bug, you can no longer place items other than decorations in home storage. Thank you!
