I'd say play Stardew 1.6 for now and wait for Coral to update. :3 It sucks to wait, but in my experience, from active devs at least, the pay off is usually pretty good ~
What do you mean by '200 items to the museum and no upgrade'? What upgrade are you expecting? There's only the one pickstarter upgrade that triggers after donating 50 items, and then takes about 2 weeks to complete.
Bait gets placed in the bait slot in your inventory.
Butter is milk in a mason jar.
Sushi is made with the chef knife, not the frying pan. These are the frying pan recipes - https://coral.guide/crafting/cooking/fryingpan
Cooking needs the correct ingredients and the correct utensils. You also need to do the mini game or the dish burns.
You don't unlock recipes by leveling your cooking skill. Most of them you get as gifts when you level up friendship, the rest you need to look up or figure out yourself.
The curfew is 2am, how late are you staying up?
I have no idea what you mean about the seeds, though. They tell you if it's a single or multiple harvest.
In Early Access, the museum upgraded to having an aquarium, apiary, the place for insects etc. I was just wondering if/when that was going to happen. Thanks for the info on bait and butter!
Yes I got the chef knife first, thats how I make sushi, however I can't seem to do anything with the frying pan. Mini game? Your energy does not fully recover if you go to bed beyond midnight
Yeah thanks; think I'll go back to Disney Dreamlight lol - at least its full of quests.
After you donate 50 things to the museum, Scott comes to you to talk about the 'pickstarter'. You'll get several cut scenes over the course of the next 2 in game weeks, and then the museum will expand.
What recipe are you trying to make with the frying pan?
When you are cooking manually, there is a little bar at the bottom of the screen. Click when the bar reaches the lit up area. If you don't do this, the dish just burns.
Yes, your energy doesn't completely fill if you go to bed after midnight, but just have a jamu or spend a couple hours in the hot spring to top up. There's no real consequence to staying up past midnight if you want to.
I tried the omelette? Where you only need 1 egg. Not all ingredients from my chests are showing though when I try to do it manually. Yes I did hit the bar at the lit up area.
I'm not too bothered about the energy the next day as I will usually just run around town instead of diving or mining. The only issue I have is when you're trying to catch fish/insects that only come out at night - there's not that much time to get it done.
As a wise man once said: Everything woke turns to ♥♥♥♥.
Lol
From the main room go left and then up. That takes you to the insects.
Cooking: here's a list of recipes from the wiki the devs prefer:

There is only one museum expansion.
The omelette is with the skillet, not the frying pan.
On chests, there's an option to include or exclude from the global inventory. If you can't see some items, they're probably in an excluded chest. This is so you can keep stuff so it doesn't accidentally get used during crafting or cooking.
It is true that 'night' isn't terribly long. They also fixed the 'bug' where time stopped while you were fishing, which IMO suuuuuuucks. I'm hoping the bamboo nets that are in the coding actually make it into the game eventually.
All my chests are global but thanks, will keep trying.
Yes, that's this expansion. There has only ever been one museum expansion. It adds all the different areas to the museum.
