Thank you for your response. To record your in-game playing, we recommend using the Bandicam application. Simply click the red circle "REC" button, minimize the app, and play the Coral Island game. Once you've recorded the issue, you can stop the recording, and the file will be located in the Bandicam folder within the Documents folder.

It shows me trying to catch a nautilus and for some reason failing (can you see me doing something wrong there or is this a bug too?), trying to place a crawler trap but being unable to and being unable to break/ pick up the trap I already have (I tried it with a bug trap on land too btw and couldn't get that back either, same as the crawler trap in the ocean). It also shows how it won't let me cut down trees and tree trunks (and rocks in the deep forest, though idk if you were supposed to be able to break those as it's my first day with the deep forest unlocked, but it does look like you're supposed to be able to break them) and even random chunks of wood outside my farm.
Hope these vids are good enough to help you figure out the issue and fix it.

Then I ended my day and the next day started with the cutscene of the deep forest opening up. what happened after this is on those videos.
2. the possible bug where I can't catch certain insects (like birdwing butterfly, orchid mantis and tiger beetle) seems to have been in the game from the start, as every attempt of catching these insects has resulted in failure, with the tiger beetle being the first insect I had this problem with when I tried to catch these during the first spring.
I never tried catching a nautilus before that day, but I assume it's a part of the insect bug and has probably been in the game from the start.
I don't use traps a lot, but I had no issues placing my last crawler trap or any of the other insect traps I have, so I have to assume that something triggered the bug with the crawler trap (my guess would be unlocking the sea critters bundle at the temple or unlocking the deep forest). The in-game day I showed you vids of is the first day I had issues with both the crawler traps and my axe and possibly pickaxe. before this I had no trouble cutting down trees and those logs that give hardwood outside my farm.
I have not played a single full day since I encountered the bugs, as I do not want to waste whole days of my game not being able to do the things I need to do (like collect hardwood to make aging barrels, which I desperately need at this point), so I've only encountered these bugs on this day so far.
3. the problem did not disappear after I shut down and restarted the game, and it was still there when I tried playing the game again the next day too (so after the whole computer had been shut down).
