Theo 8 heart event not triggering?

I've done his other events, gave him the wood for his piano, listened to the story about the marks, but cannot seem to move past this at all. Is anyone else having this problem? Am I missing something?

I play Steam PC Unfortunately I don't have any video or screenshot, its simply not triggering.

Managed to get it to trigger, you have to be at the garden waiting at 8am

There is definitely something wrong with this quest.

I have been there, at Theo's house on sunny days between 8 and 12 multiple times. I am at 8 hearts with Theo. I have tried it with him not being my boyfriend and with him being my boyfriend, and neither made a difference.

This is on Steam on a PC.

I just tried Phaerea's "fix" of being there at his family's place BEFORE 8 and then waiting for 8 am while there and that did not trigger it either.

A screenshot or video is pretty useless as all it will show is me standing there with nothing happening. :(

The only other item that *may* be of interest is that this is my second run-through (I have another save where I am married to Wakuu :D) But since there "should" be no interaction between the two saves, that shouldn't be preventing the trigger.

Yes, I have seen all of Theo's heart events up to the 8-heart event(s)

Current in-game date is Winter 1, Day 3. I have been trying since at least mid-Fall of year 1.

Just a heads up - the "official wiki" is incomplete. Theo has two level 8 heart events, and the official wiki only lists one of them. It's actually missing information on several people, so you're going to have a tough time if that's the wiki you're using.

Here's Theo's full list. The first level 8 event won't trigger until the piano is broken.

Actually, the wiki does mention both of the 8-heart events. It does NOT mention the 15 Fall through 28 Fall issue (which I am supposedly beyond, since it is now into December). It DOES show the Community Center Piano as broken when I went to check on it.

So, I have the sunny, I have finished the 7th heart event, it is between 08:00 and 12:00, Theo isat 8 (8.5 now) hearts, the Community Center Piano is broken, etc.

I am curious as to why nobody has edited the wiki yet, if they feel an entry is wrong, but that's a question for another day. Maybe I'll have to bite the bullet this weekend when I have some time free and register an account so I can submit changes.

Meanwhile, I am open to other suggestions as to what I am missing, as the first of the two 8-heart events really seems like it should be triggering unless that date range in the full list is also incorrect, and it goes for longer than people think.

Finally, later in Winter, Theo was able to shake off the fall blues (due to the anniversary of his mother's death, perhaps?) and progressed with both stages of his 8 heart events.
