I can confirm I saw a few when clearing the bottom 10 floors (iced over), but getting more mystery geodes and earth geodes than water geodes is not intended behavior. Even then I'm still seeing ZERO in some instances.
Even then, all other geodes visibly have an excessively low droprate, but that's at least manageable.
I love doing repetitive game tasks to relax, but this has even me at a point where it's not fun anymore. I get maybe 3 elemental geodes and 1 or 2 mystery geodes a day, and it stings to get mostly trash/ore or some more common gems from them.
If it's not a bug, here's my heartfelt recommendation to give your probability system another look.
Could you please let us know, how many days you can't see the Geode? Do you happen to didn't find all the Geodes or only the water Geodes?
Also, can you send your save file to Support@Stairwaygames.com?
You can write 'Requested Save File - Steam Discussion - [Steam username]' in the subject.
Thank you!
All geodes can still be found, including water geodes, but difficult to say if it's a natural drop when this does happen.
I want to say since at least the last patch in maybe December? I hadn't actively hunted them in greater part, though when I first went through the water mine sometime shortly after the game's official release when I started playing, I definitely noticed more of them and that was without any boosted rates from the better pickax.
(save sent) Hope ya'll can nail this issue out without too much work. Thanks for being there, definitely appreciate it.

I upped the enchantment on my pickaxe, that was costly but that definitely helped compared to before. But these numbers are with 90% game time speed, enchanted osmium pickaxe, level 10 mining skill, and only the barest time spent tending to a fairly automated farm.
Also, I only encountered two (2)(!!!) gem nodes in the entire 16 days. That seems outrageous.
To be clear: I like the actual loot table that's behind the blacksmiths' breaking open service. The distribution of trash / medium stuff / rare stuff feels balanced in the way that rare still gives you that little endorphin kick without a swarm of trash.
But at least in late game I'd prefer to get around 10 elemental geodes and around 5 mystery geodes per half day of farming the mines. That should give people a better chance to complete the collections.
Fossils rate seem fine to me.
Where do I find my save file?
Hello everyone,
Thank you for the report.
To share your saved files please kindly check the details below.
Steam PC -> C:\Users\ <username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames (AppData folder is sometimes hidden, you need to unhide it first)
Steam Deck -> For Steam Deck, your save file would most likely be stored in 'compatdata' (filepath:/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata). From there, you will see lots of folder with random number, Coral Island folder should be the one with code number '1158160'. Enter that folder, into the pfx folder, then drive_c folder, then you can follow the file path here: Users\ <username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames to find your save file,
You can send your save file to Support@Stairwaygames.com
