I've tried out all the games, and even if it seemed I might be able to figure out the mechanics after a while, I *will* get bored if the RNG wastes my time. The prizes also aren't worth the time investment.
As for the sack race, I realized that first year I'd never win, since it uses my real stamina. I had, what, 300 stamina as a baby farmer? Yeah, just eat dirt while 2000 stamina Mark wins the sack race.
Some let you practice, others don't.
Some let you repeat the real thing, others don't.
Some work as advertised, others don't.
And all of that on top of the incredibly floaty controls that I still haven't mastered after 250 hours. Don't ask me to hit targets if your controls won't let me do it. *heavy sigh*
I don't know what size of team they're working with, but considering Stardew Valley was basically a one-man-show, I'm not real impressed with Coral Island technically. The art seems to be where most of the effort went.
Other mini game was one time play which is stupid.
Cherry event, donate food I think is bugged. I threw a purple star veggie in the pot and came back ok and nothing special. With that I should have thrown a bug in the pot.
100% agree. When I couldn't do the chicken fight over, I was peeved.
