Low monster loot drop & low ore veins appearance

I am loving the game so far, but the mines are my least favourite place to go to. Especially the first Earth Mine. I can easily go 10 levels without monsters dropping anyting or just one item from one monster for the entire run. Also the bronze veins barely appear in my mine. I will have few levels where there even is none, but when i finally got to silver, I came back with 100 ores from the one run I did. Is there a plan to balance out loot drop rate and vein appearance?

There is mining perks you can unlock which should help like I think there is a perk that monsters drop double loot chance things like that and you can get a perk where hitting normal rocks could give you ores as well
