Sunflower Sea Star In Farm

Sooo....I'd been noticing this odd random occurrence on my farm where you'd think for some odd reason there is a big roaming your farm land & they became alert to you...I went out by chance cause I could never see the bugger to catch it & much to my surprise it was a Sunflower Sea Star...Clearly not something that should be roaming on my farm where there is no water.....

I have the same thing: I got it before and after V1.0.
I assumed it was some kind of hidden bonus.

I noticed this several times, most commonly seems to happen at the beginning of a new season, when I set up the field.

I just caught one on the farm too. I’m glad that I have it but it obviously belongs in the sea.
