Why is it that when I ask Wakuu to marry me, he says he's not ready yet? I already have 10 hearts, I did the cardiac events and expanded the house, but he doesn't accept the marriage, can anyone help me?

I had the same think happen when I proposed to Rafael. Turns out he needed to know me better. You have to make sure all events have happened. Rafael showed up at my house took me on a date and then he was ready.

Same thing is happening to me! I can't get his 10 heart event to trigger. Looks like it is a bug based on what I saw from the coral island subreddit

I married Wakuu and had the same problem. You have to make sure all the hearts are full. You also have to go through all the scenes and events that happened between him and his dad. But most importantly, he sends you a letter asking you on a personal date at his place and then that's where you can kiss him and then after the date is done, you can ask him to marry you.

I've already done all the cardiac events but I haven't received any letters, I don't know what else to do

If you haven't gotten the letter, you missed a heart event. What was the last one you remember seeing?

I'm also having this issue with Noah . I am and have been at 10 hearts with him for forever, and yet I seem to not have all heart events and I don't see anywhere I can look them up to verify that. I thought maybe it had to do with me needing to level up the town but I'm waiting for AGES to that to happen and I don't feel like doing the not fun part of the game by catching impossible fish. No bueno.

This site shows Noah's, and other NPC's heart events. The last time the site was updated was on the 3rd, so it should be pretty current.

Hi, similar issue. I have 10 hearts but I don't recall ever seeing the Heart Events and I never got a letter. Is there something I can do to go back and trigger the heart events or the letter somehow after gaining 10 hearts with my potential mate?
