Peafowl Feather

I have yet to collect a peafowl feather. I have had my peafowl 80 days. It's happy and at maximum hearts.
Initially there were no auto-petters or auto-feeders in the coop but there was one chicken, one duck, and one quail. That was the coop arrangement for 30+ days and my peafowl didn't drop any feathers.
I added an auto-petter and an auto-feeder and still no feathers. I don't know what I have to do but it's the last thing I need for my offerings. :(

I found what might be a workaround for this. I noticed some animations, such as the last part of the coral sun tower thingy will continue to play even when the game is paused in the escape menu. It looks like the game will also animate your animals moving around when it's paused. So I tried just leaving it paused for a few minutes and when I unpaused it, I finally had a feather.
So if you don't yet have an autograbber this seems like a way to get the feathers to drop without wasting a bunch of in-game clock.

or to wait for your animals to stop stacking up on top of the food trough or the products they dropped...

Mine drop feathers outside the coop on the ground whether i let them out or not. They don't seem to ever drop inside the building.

Do you have grass planted in the area your animals go outside in? I have no trouble getting my feathers as long as the peafowl are happy and there is grass within their pasture. I think you need grass for pigs and luwaks to produce also. It also helps if you put those heaters/coolers inside the barn for summer and winter.
