BUG - Stuck in Inventory Menu

I was bug catching with a full inventory, and I wanted to make room for the item, so I clicked on a Chestnut, with the intent of dragging it over to the Trash Can. However, as I picked it up, the little banner that shows the description of the bug/fish you caught showed up at the bottom of my screen, and now whenever I try to click on anything, the banner just reappears. I have tried using every control, and the only things I can do is change outfits. I am still holding the Chestnut on my cursor, and the bug hasnt shown up in the empty space in my inventory.

I have the same problem. It happens if I open the inventory right after I've picked up a bug and the little banner that showes the description of the bug. I've experienced this several times, and the only way to solve it is by restarting the game (and losing that days progress). I've not had a full inventory when this happened to me.

This bug goes away right after I close and restart the game, but you do lose that day's progress,

I've had this happen multiple times to me, it's the same as mentioned, I'm to quick switching to my inventory and get stuck there. Lost two days of progress so far, kinda frustrating when playing the game for the first time

04/18/2024 and the bug is still in the game... I'm tired of loosing all my day progress every time that this happens. When I remember I always wait till the banner appears, close it and than I use the inventory, but sometimes I catch a regular insect (so I don't expect the banner), but in a new quality and the banner appears, I start organizing the inventory and the bug is there again....
btw, I don't think it's necessary this banner on every different quality... the banner just make sense for me when I catch a new insect or critter for the first time, doesn't matter if I catch a silver one of an insect that I already did catch before..

Just encountered this bug for the first time, actually so sad. I've been diving for the whole day, so not only do I lose my progress/items but I also have to redo all the work I've done.

04/22/2025 and this bug is still happening, I just came to the game back today and to have to restart this day for the 3rd time, I’m sincerely going to stop playing again…

The bug exists to this day, this has happened multiple time to me, I try to have caution but sometimes you just press the button out of muscle memory and its frustrating when you lose a big part of the day thanks to this :/
