Heal the coral tree - orb missing (bug?)

Hi everyone!

I'm stuck at the Heal the coral tree questline - I'm a at 55 m underwater and one of the altars won't open and unluck the dark roots because the orb is missing. I literally cleared all the trash in the area 4 times now and it's nowhere to be found. Is it a bug or do I need to unlock anything else?

I would suggest you try clearing trash from further away. When I got stuck, like you, I found the orb required in an adjacent area, quite a distance from where I expected it to be

Same issue, same altar. destroyed all Trash in the area, nothing.

I encountered the same situation, and after searching for a long time I still couldn’t find it.

try restarting the game first and clear it again

Has anyone got a fix for this yet? Same altar. same issue here. I have cleared all trash in surrounding areas, restarted the game, waited a couple days to reclear trash, etc.

Depending on what I'm understanding, that altar's orb is either directly south of it. (in the U bend) or in an area to the right of it. (where the circle is at the center of the crossroads) It may depend on your total progress to actually clear it. I know this one gets cleared before the end, but may need you to clear the area to the north with the skeletons first?

This happened to me. Waiting just a few days didn't work for me but the concept made sense. So, I let all the trash regenerate for a little under 2 in-game weeks, then went back and cleared the trash in the entire osmium area. the orb i needed spawned.

I found it to the small section to the north - that route to the right between the two circles. That section had been blocked off before doing the first altar and I hadn't thought to go back. Hope that helps anyone else with this issue!
