Saving the Coral Tree

This is the second time I've played through to saving the Coral Tree. The first time (early access) there was a cut scene, where you saw the spirit fly around the island activating the devices. This time there was no scene. My character blew the conch, the spirit appeared and flew up, but that was it. There was nothing to show that you cleared the roots.

This happened to me as well but the next time i went to the beach (i had teleported to town and walked southto start gathering after unlocking something in the lab) it went to a cut scene where everything healed and the people were all excited and started playing on the beaches. I don't think i ever got the flying around healing bits, just the celebration after stuff.

I haven't seen that yet. Roots are gone but no celebration.
