Eva's 8 heart event won't trigger

Hi folks. I can't seem to be able to successfully trigger this heart event, which should normally happen on a sunny or windy day between 07:00–14:00 on the Beach Pier, directly in front of the Inn. Have tried many, many times already. Approached the location from different directions, even tried to time it so that Eva is actually walking in close proximity to the location, but nothing works. I already reached full 10 hearts with her, but can't proceed to marriage, because I haven't seen all of her events. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips or solutions? Cheers.

Is it during the festival week in winter?

If not, try triggering the 7 heart event again. What was the last scene you saw with her?

A lot of the time when people report not being able to trigger an event, it's because they're not actually there yet, they didn't actually see the previous events. This happens most often when cut scenes have multiple NPCs in it, and the cut scene was actually for the other NPC.

The last event I saw was the one inside Coral Inn, where she made the Kua Lapis or whatever the name was and wanted your feedback. I believe that was the 7 heart event, which won't trigger anymore (since I frequent Coral Inn quite a bit). Now she should be leaving for the competition, but that unfortunately never happens. Oh and also I'm in Fall right now, haven't reached Winter yet.
