Cross-progression?

I own this game on PS5 and I would like that if I buy the game in Steam I will be able to access my PS5 save. I've tried to find out on Google but it's not really clear, some people says it works, some says it doesn't. Any clues? TIA

Why would you think that it is working? And how?
Where are the savegames stored on PS5? And where are they stored on steam? Is there somewhere an overlapping service, which stores the savegames for both?
Non, that I know of.

Maybe there is a way to manually copy/move your save from PS5 to PC. But it is very possible, that the save is not compatible with steam - at least version-wise.

It could be possible if the website for coral island allowed you to make an account so it can track which platforms you have and can link them to each other. BVHR does this with Dead by daylight. As long as you bought the game for each platform you can play on either system.

It's pretty rare that different platforms are even on the same version of the game. If you tried to move the save, it would just corrupt, anyway. That's why they devs tell you not to move game pass saves to steam.

Also reading some of the discussions it seems that the steam version has a few issues. Ps 5 version rarely has a crash. (for me)
