Ranching Experience Stalls When Using Auto-Collector / Auto-Petter

I'm stuck at lvl 7 Ranching because your character only gains Ranching experience when you physically collect and pet your animals. The entire point of using the auto-collector and auto-petter is they remove that tedium from your daily routine, but you're penalized by never being able to lvl up if you use them.

Well you can focus on collecting from pig/luwak ?

Correct, you get XP for doing the thing, but not if you have something do it for you. Same with sprinklers for farming or bombs for mining, and so on.

Fortunately yes, picking up truffles still count (I don't have a luwak so I can't confirm gesha beans). But that's only like 30 xp per truffle, which only drop every 3 days. It would take many in-game years to make up the difference.

And using auto harvest attachment grant points as well
