Can't decorate north room from lvl 3 house

As title says, I can't put any furniture inside the north room. It just goes up until the door, and I can't put anything inside it..

I can't either. I believe that is supposed to be for your spouse if you take one, and they get to decorate it. Weird, I know.

Correct, you cannot decorate it. Your spouse's bedroom will show up there, and the children rooms are the ones to the side. You cannot do anything with them, but you can decorate the hallway area in front.
