silver fruit for alter

I don't understand why all fruit trees from Sam aren't silver plus quality I've upgraded all the way up at the lab but the last few fruits I need for alter are plain quality all the time. any help would be great. I've planted lemon. rambutan,cocoa, and dragonfruit, but no luck getting higher quality, Thanks.

If you wanted to cheese it, then you could just reload the day, the quality is determined when you pick it. Also most of mine are gold with basic fertiliser + gold seeds from the lab.

Oh sorry you mean the the actual seeds? Youre probably mistaking Trees for Plants. All the ones you listed are plants, not trees, you need the middle option that costs 6x essence at the lab. The TREES dont need watering and take 28 days to grow.

u mean I should upgrade seed of somethings in lab? I want Mango silver star but now don't have once yet

The 10-day "seedlings" are definitely bugged. They give lower quality fruit regardless of upgrading them in the lab. Farm seeds and Tree seeds and Hay all seem to work fine when upgraded.
