What can I do to improve my town's rating?

Currently in B rank. I'm about to reach A rank, but I'm short of 100 points.
I don't know what to do to get points because I wasn't always aware of it.
Could someone please tell me?

The three ways to raise town rank -

Heritage - complete goddess offerings

Museum - complete donations

Ocean - complete all 4 sections of the ocean and heal the coral tree

You'll get bonuses for finishing collections, so for example, even though you only get 3 points per museum donation, you get an extra bonus if you donate all of the artifacts.

You can see what you are missing for donations by looking at the collection reward at the donation bin. I have just reached B, but I know what to look for by looking at what collections I have not finished.

My problem is that I completed all offerings, but my Heritage is still at 180/238.

Does participating in holiday events boost town rank? Or does it just give you the currency to buy things?
