Question about the Babies

I have two babies, and so far can't do a thing with them. Can't pick them up, nothing. I keep waiting for the baby to turn into a toddler and stop sleeping in their crib all day, but so far no luck.

They also look identical. Is there nothing different about them? Do sons or daughters look different or have different wraps?

I think that's where we are in the development. They don't have the ability to grow this update.

We should at least be able to pick the gender of each baby when they are born

the babies are gender neutral, just like the player character. i'm sure there will be customization options for hair and clothes, maybe body type as teens, where you can determine what they identify as.
