Rare Trash Skill

So what exactly does it adds to the pool?
Skill states that it has 2% to get rare items from trash, but what actually are they? Is there a list around or some examples of what you can possibly get?

From what I've seen it just means you'll have a better chance to get chests/glass/scrap/rocks/lumber, it doesn't add anything special.

Eh, I disagree. I constantly found more hardwood diving in the ocean than I did waiting around for the logs to respawn in the Forest. But that was back in the EA days and skill rates were hella busted at the time to the point where I was hoping they wouldn't get nerfed for making resource collection so easy.

Sure it might be nice, but since you don't get to pick all in the beginning, I'm guessing extra kelps and extra coffers are more useful, no?

Yup its for anything other than Trash. Like extra coffers. The other skills are for whats in those coffers. Extra Kelp isn't worth it. You get plenty from cleared areas.

Enchantment can also be upgraded for a much better bonus.
Coffers are one of the key catches here though, containing pretty valuable items to sell or enchant with supposing they don't help you round out your museum.

I would argue that extra kelp depends. Oxium Kelp sells for 150 each, so it could be a quick way to make some change.

I get kelp... And normally copper kelp so kinda worthless at this point

Yeah, a bit later in the game I realize that extra kelp isnt that useful, I thought it would be as rare as ores.

Ah well, at least the diving tier 2 skills are pretty bad, so I can still get the rare trash skill.
