How to unlock architect desk?

Hi everyone,

I already played in early access, started a New Game Plus and kinda rushed through the quests to progress to a somewhat close state to my earlier playthrough. So, I already completed the giants and ocean quest line and currently have no main quests remaining in the quest log. However, apparently, I did not unlock the architect desk yet. As I have quite some things not placed optimally, I wanted to use it to redesign the farm layout for the upcoming season. So, I wonder if there are any more conditions that need to be met for unlocking it? I am on town rank C in early fall of the first year right now. Any help is much appreciated :)

It unlocked in my game after releasing the 4 giants. After a few days, they showed up and gave it to me. I don't know if Town Rank was a factor or not, but I think I was at Rank C or D at the time.

Unfortunately, it has already been several ingame weeks since I released all the giants, that's why I'm assuming there needs to be another condition not being met - unless it is just bugged for me..

Were you able to go to lobby and speak with all 4 giants after freeing fire giant ? , when I went to lobby no giants , no final convo with giants and no desk for me.

I did have the final conversation, but no architect desk for me either, and it has been at least a full week at this point.

Actually, Idk for sure as I skipped through most of the dialog, which I have already seen in the early access. I read about this issue in some threads when looking for my problem, hoping still that this is not related.

Yeah, I had no lobby conversation either. I am not restarting, so if its bugged, I'm out lol.

I've read somewhere that obtaining the desk is currently being disabled, I think it's from reddit

It is a known issue. People aren't getting the cutscene after freeing the fire giant.

The devs are aware - if you go on the discord, they have been discussing it with players.

I wish they gave us updates here at times. Zero interest in Discord or yet another way of communicating tbh. I don't mind if it's summaries or w/e, but the silence is deafening.

Thank you for transporting the information! I guess, I'll have to do the redesign manually, gonna be a pain though with all the chests and trees D:
