How to cook?
I don't care if I am being a fool or clueless. But I am new, so how do you make any dish in this game?

I have a kitchen, I have Bug Jerky as available option, and in the description it says "Any Insect". In which in my mind it translates to any insect available, and still it says 'Recipe Locked/Insufficient Ingredient'. But why? I brought the ingredients and it isn't in red text. How do I fix this?

You need to buy the pots and pans to be able to cook you can make bug jerky without them. You can buy them from the electronic shop in town and as your get more hearts with people around town they will send you recipes or you can look them up online to learn them into your recipe book you will need to cook them manual first.
