in early access I would find books by digging up the random clover bits with the hoe that are scattered around I haven't found one yet in my 1.0 game but I haven't reached winter year 1 yet either.

Spring 2 here and no books maybe they forgot to bury them lol .

They've apparently taken the notes/books out until next year. No idea why but yeah, they're not in the game atm.
