Is there a way to make insects appear?

I would like to donate insects to a museum or give them to a temple, but I can't find the insects I'm looking for.
I know where it is because I crafted the computer.
So I don't think there is a problem with the location and time of appearance.

Did you only check the general spawns on the computer or zoom in on the map, as that will show you nearly exactly what insect is currently at each of the smaller spawn zones, making it really easy.

Will this appear if I wait at the desired location?
Or do I need to enter a building or leave a certain distance?

As far as i can tell the map shows which insect is currently at the location. The times i tried it i looked at the screen, ported over to the spot and the insect was just there. This also works for anything else the computer can show, like flowers, plants etc.

I just played and checked and was able to find it in the same location.
I'm trying to catch a yucca moth.
This got away very quickly.
If it runs away, will it be impossible to find it on the same day?
And I use a silver bug net. If I strengthen this, will I be able to catch it easily?

For the really hard to catch ones you will need the osmium net AND the scent.

I have no idea if the insect change during the day or night, haven''t checked on that yet.
